# Game Staking

Game staking connects a graduated game's liquidity with funded rewards for participants.

**Rollout status:** this guide covers the new staking release. A game needs an enabled vault and published terms before users can deposit. An allocation in a draft does not mean staking is already open.

### For studios

The updated Studio Launch flow offers a yes/no staking choice. When enabled, the launch reserves the configured percentage of supply, with a new-release default of 10%. Team, treasury and staking reservations together must remain within 40%.

The staking reserve stays separate from team and treasury allocations. After graduation, it is released to the staking reward system. A project that has not graduated has not reached that release step.

The studio can fund reward campaigns, and additional rewards can be contributed through the supported flow. Existing campaign commitments can be topped up or extended under the program's rules. Tokens assigned to the protected launch staking allocation do not become freely withdrawable studio treasury funds.

### For participants

Game staking uses the supported graduated liquidity pool. Deposit both required assets and check the vault's withdrawal rules, rewards and capacity before signing.

Game vaults support flexible liquidity participation under their configuration. Flexible principal does not make every reward immediately withdrawable. Game-token rewards can enter a separate lock, while LOAD rewards restake and SOL-fee rewards pay directly.

### Early reward withdrawal

For supported non-LOAD token rewards, the early-withdrawal forfeiture falls as the reward lock approaches its end. The app shows what you can withdraw now and what would be forfeited. Waiting until unlock removes that lock's early-withdrawal forfeiture.

That forfeiture applies to the locked reward. It should not be confused with pool losses, price changes or the amount of principal returned by a liquidity withdrawal.

### Fees and reward estimates

Each vault has a fee policy showing the staker share and studio allocation. Those terms are separate from the original graduation position's splitter. Check the actual vault rather than assuming a universal studio income rate.

Campaign funding, emissions, prices and total stake affect rewards. Depositing more liquidity can dilute an individual share. Use the deposit preview and treat APR as an estimate.
