# Rewards & Rebates

Loadout tracks two different things: Loot earned from eligible fees, and XP earned under the rules of a season.

### Loot

Referral Loot comes from the eligible activity of wallets registered to your referral. Trader Loot is the rebate earned on your own qualifying referred trades.

The eligible protocol reward allocation splits 40% to the referrer, 20% to the trader and 40% to Loadout. The split applies to that allocation, and its value changes with the token and trading stage.

Curve rewards accrue in on-chain accounts. After graduation, rewards are calculated from eligible indexed activity and become claimable through published distributions. Post-graduation distributions can include SOL and project-token amounts. Check the asset and amount shown before claiming.

### Earned, pending and claimable

Earned rewards include amounts already claimed and amounts still owed. Claimable is what the current claim flow can pay. Recent trading or pending processing may not appear immediately as claimable rewards.

Use the Rewards page and transaction history to reconcile claims. Register a referral before trading; buying through Loadout alone does not create eligibility.

### XP

XP records eligible activity within a season. The current calculation uses the trade's USD value, an early multiplier based on the project's age when the trade happened, and the wallet's volume tier at that trade.

Later volume does not retroactively increase the multiplier of an earlier trade. A displayed early multiplier should not be read as a permanent bonus locked when you joined Loadout.

Season windows and eligibility rules determine which trades count. Preseason uses its own rules. Check the active season information for dates, allocation and any distribution terms; XP itself is not a withdrawable token balance.

### Leaderboard

The refreshed live-season calculation rebuilds XP and rankings hourly. Recent activity can take time to appear, and a delayed calculation can leave the previous ranking visible. The leaderboard ranks XP; referral earnings are shown separately.

### Using Rewards

Connect the wallet you traded with, open Rewards, select the relevant history or season and review your available claims. Check what each transaction pays before approving it. Keep enough SOL for network costs.

See [Referral Program](https://loadout.gitbook.io/product-docs/for-traders/referrals) for registration and eligible activity.
