# Referral Program

Bring traders to Loadout and earn a share of the eligible protocol fees from their activity.

### The split

For eligible referred trades, the protocol reward allocation splits 40% to the referrer, 20% to the trader as a rebate and 40% to Loadout.

These percentages apply to the eligible protocol allocation. On a 100 SOL game-curve trade at the standard rate, the 1 SOL protocol allocation splits into 0.4 SOL for the referrer, 0.2 SOL for the trader and 0.4 SOL for Loadout.

LOAD and graduated game pools have different underlying allocations. The example should not be applied to every market.

### Register before trading

Open Rewards with your wallet connected and follow the referral registration flow. Use the referral link shown after registration succeeds. Complete any required wallet approval; an unsuccessful registration does not establish eligibility.

For a trader to qualify, the referral must be registered before the eligible trade. Simply trading through the website does not automatically create a rebate. Self-referrals are blocked.

### What activity qualifies

Rewards follow eligible attributed activity and the fees actually earned by the relevant positions. A registered wallet's indexed activity in an eligible pool can qualify even when the trade comes through another interface. Independent-pool trading does not automatically qualify.

For unreferred trading, the referral and rebate portions remain with the protocol.

### Claiming rewards

Curve rewards and post-graduation rewards use different claim paths. Curve balances accrue on-chain. Post-graduation rewards become claimable through published distributions after the relevant fees and activity have been processed.

Open Rewards to check earned, claimed and claimable amounts. A volume total is not a claimable balance, and a displayed pending amount may not yet be ready to claim.
