# Introduction

**Trade games. Fund games.**

We built Loadout so game developers can turn trading activity into development funding. A team publishes its game, launches a token and earns fees from eligible trades. Traders can follow the work and decide whether they want to back it.

Games can launch while they're still in development. A finished game isn't a requirement, and developers can keep their game entirely traditional.

### Two routes to launch

Curated Launches go through our review of the team and project. Instant Launches give developers a self-service route. An instant project can later become verified after review.

The graduation targets for new launches are **150 SOL for curated launches** and **85 SOL for instant launches**. Check the individual project's published settings. Existing launches can have different targets, and updated documentation does not change an existing token's configuration.

### How the funding works

A game token starts on a bonding curve. The standard curve trading fee is 5%: 4 percentage points for the studio and 1 for Loadout before referrals and rebates. An enabled studio buyback allocation comes out of the studio's share.

At graduation, real SOL and token reserves seed the official Meteora DAMM v2 pool. The original graduation liquidity position is permanently locked. Studio fee income is separate from those liquidity reserves.

The standard game pool starts at a 2% trading fee. Meteora deductions, fee ownership, compounding and any buyback or staking allocation affect what the studio actually receives. LOAD has already graduated and has its own official-pool fee of 1.5%.

Studios keep control of their games. Traders should review the team, progress, allocations and risks before buying. Funding depends on trading activity, and some games will fail.
